Krishna Janmashtami (कृष्ण जन्माष्टमी), is celebrated every year on the birth date of Lord Krishna which is the eight avatar of Bhagwan Vishnu. Radhey Krishna are inseparable and cannot be broken into two, such was the love of Radha towards Krishna that they are still remembered for it. Janmaashtami which is also called Gokulashtami is also known by Dahi Handi in Mumbai and Pune where in a human pyramid is made to break a handi which is filled with buttermilk and tied at a certain height.
